Peter Xerri the Director has been involved in the construction industry all his life. He holds various qualifications in the professional construction industry namely a Bachelor Degree in Construction Management and Economics, specialising in Project Management and Building Surveying (Certifier) disciplines. Peter has advanced his professional development by achieving accreditation with the Royal Institute of Building Surveyors (RICS) as a Level 1 Building Surveyor. He is also a registered Private Certifier (APB20190024) with the Department of Transport and Infrastructure (DTI) State Government, enabling him to sign off approvals privately throughout the state (Equal authority as council in the respective field).

 

Peter has many years of experience in Local Government Council Building and Planning teams in: the City of Charles Sturt, the City of Port Lincoln, the City of Tea Tree Gully, the City of Playford and Barossa Council as a Senior Building Surveyor, assessing residential and commercial projects, issuing Development Approvals and undertaking site inspections during construction. Peter has assisted with many council projects and Councils Building Fire Safety Committee. 

 

Peter also has experience in the Private Building Industry Sector. Peter is a Property Developer within SA so understands how important the approval process is. Experience in a management role at Metricon Homes SA as a Pre-Site Manager, managing clients, the approval process, final design, assisting in project scheduling from contract-to-site and collaborating with sales, estimating, and drafting teams.

Peter now continues to provide professional services to local government and consults to builders, architects, drafters granting Building Rules Consent and Planning Consent Approvals via BRC Private Certifiers Pty Ltd.
